Responsibilities:
As a Coax Splicer, you will be a part of a team of construction professionals who produce high-quality work while using specialized skills in splicing, activations, testing, troubleshooting, and more to make a difference. You will upgrade the existing plant, plant extensions, and new building construction.You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.
Pay Range: $25-$30 per hour
In addition, you will:
- Splice, sweep and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable
- Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity
- Utilize RF Meters and TDR (time-domain reflectometers)
- Read CATV telecommunication design and prints
- Work in outdoor utility construction sites
Qualifications:
About You:
- You have a working knowledge of the insurance industry
- You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom software
- You have excellent verbal, written, phone, and interpersonal skills
- You enjoy working in a fast-paced high volume work environment
- You have positive people skills and a pleasant demeanor
MOS Code 88N relates well to this position.
