Overview:
The Room Service Call Center Rep obtains orders from patients and families via telephone in an efficient and timely manner; making sure accuracy and diet compliances are followed, conducts report processing as directed.

Responsibilities:
- Obtains meal orders from patients and families via the telephone and faxed requests.
- Enters meal orders into the system established for menu processing.
- Verifies meal orders meet diet order parameters.
- Process credit card charges following confidential and privacy guidelines.
- Coordinates call center processes with production and tray assembly areas.
- Acts as a liaison between Nutrition Services, the patient, family and nursing units.
- Demonstrates computer literacy.
- Creates service culture.
- Presents a professional appearance in the uniform prescribed by the department at all times.
Qualifications:
Education Requirement: High School Graduate or equivalent
Skills:
- Ability to use computer efficiently
- Ability to communicate to others in a clear concise manner
- Ability to use headset on phone, while placing order in computer
- Customer service skills.
- Knowledge of credit card processing.
Experience: 3 months food service experience
