The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking Daycare & Preschool Teachers for our schools throughout metro Columbia. We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you.
Pay rate of $14-$18 per hour
Pay rate is determined by relevant education and experience. Candidates with a high school diploma and limited experience will be paid at the lower end of the range. Candidates with ECD 101 to an associate’s degree in early childhood education or a related field may be paid mid-range.Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field and applicable experience may be paid at the higher end of the range.

Childcare Teaching Opportunities:

Teacher Responsibilities:
- Implement our award-winning curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique learning style.
- Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Document and share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app.
- Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- ECD 101, CDA, or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- At least 30 days of paid teaching experience in a DSS licensed daycare facility required.
