Marketing Communications Specialist

We are looking for a Marketing Communications/Content Specialist to join our team in Norwalk, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, implementing and measuring marketing programs, coordinating media plans, and managing content for our website.

This role offers an opportunity for individuals who are skilled in strategic planning, project management, and digital marketing. This role is mostly onsite with some hybrid flexibility, likely 1 day a week WFH.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategic marketing plans for the organization and its affiliates
  • Manage comprehensive system and service line marketing strategies
  • Develop traditional and digital marketing communications tools, including advertising, digital media, brochures, direct mail etc.
  • Coordinate with external design teams to ensure all pieces meet standards for quality, accuracy, timeliness and cost-effectiveness
  • Handle media plans in terms of placement and media management
  • Manage website content and work with cross-functional groups to develop and update information for web pages and postings
  • Monitor marketing activity and develop measurement tools to track results of marketing activities
  • Provide recommendations based on the success and failures of plans or promotions
  • Proofread all produced items to ensure they align with core messages and are error free
  • Coordinate with Public Relations, Internal Communications and Community Events to support any marketing collateral pieces needed to support initiatives
  • Utilize various software and applications such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Content Management System (CMS), CRM, Database, Editorial Content, Advertisements, Blogging, Brand Awareness, Budget Processes, Campaign Planning, Adobe InDesign, Web Content, Web Content Management, Google AdSense, Google Analytics, CSS, HTML, SharePoint.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Marketing Communications Specialist or similar role
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe InDesign
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms
  • Experience with database management
  • Ability to create compelling editorial content
  • Experience creating and managing advertisements
  • Proven experience with blogging for brand awareness
  • Understanding of budget processes within marketing
  • Experience with campaign planning
  • Knowledge of web content creation and management
  • Familiarity with Google AdSense and Google Analytics
  • Basic understanding of CSS and HTML
  • Experience with SharePoint is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
