This role is ideal for students with a keen interest in analytical thinking and a proactive, independent mindset to support our international trade compliance team. This role offers hands-on experience in global trade compliance, customs regulations, and export/import procedures while working alongside experienced professionals in the field.The International Trade Compliance team is a vital part of SPI, ensuring our global operations comply with sanctions, embargoes, and export control and customs regulations.
How you will make an impact:
- Assist in data migration/import of product classifications to database platforms
- Assist in maintaining trade compliance databases and filing systems
- Support the classification of products for customs purposes
- Assist in preparing trade compliance reports and analysis
- Laise with key internal stakeholders and support when required
- Assist the Trade Compliance team with reviewing, analyzing, and processing international trade documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support trade compliance processes, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the efficiency of global operations.

- Enthusiastic about learning and working with trade compliance professionals in the US and abroad
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The compensation for this position will be $24.00 for Juniors & $25.00 for Seniors.
