- Position Status: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Responsibilities:
Here’s what to expect as a Strategic Relationship Specialist:
- Identify and secure new strategic partnerships to support UCP’s strategic direction.
- In conjunction with staff across departments, define and maintain a partnership strategy to strengthen fund development activities and leverage community engagement opportunities for people with disabilities.
- Work with internal stakeholders in developing and honing UCP’s brand and promote the brand to the community at large.
- Act as a liaison between UCP and key community leaders.
- Engage in community events and community presentations to build awareness of UCP in the community as a provider and employer.
- Conduct prospect research and analysis to support the business needs.
- Analyze industry trends to understand how we can leverage strategic partners to promote UCP as a leader in the Human Services Industry.
- Develop an onboarding process for new partners, as well as retention strategies to sustain the partnership network.
- Develop recruitment and retention strategies to cultivate and sustain the agency’s strategic partnerships.
- Participate actively in Community Relations and Development Department team meetings.
- Assist with Donor Prospect research and analysis, Major gift strategy and solicitation, and the research and application of grants.
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements as a Strategic Relationship Specialist:
- Associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university required, and 4 years of prior work experience working directly with persons with disabilities
- Or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required; and 2 years of prior work experience working directly with persons with disabilities
- 18 years of age
- A valid driver’s license
- Access to vehicle with valid insurance, registration, and inspection
- Ability to communicate, read, write, and interpret English
Preferred, but not required:
- Experience with marketing and communications
