Under the general supervision of the Sr. Human Resources Manager. The Communications and Marketing Coordinator is tasked with a broad variety of marketing communications activities and operates within a deadline driven environment. The successful candidate must be able to generate ideas, write news releases, articles, blogs, and social media updates.In addition, the Communications and Marketing Coordinator will manage internal communication campaigns including newsletters. This position may also organize promotional or community-centered programs. The successful candidate must be able to write, organize events and develop marketing materials.
In this role the candidate will be expected to manage creative projects and events from concept to completion with guidance from management.
Other responsibilities- Presents concepts, strategy, and creative execution.
- Coordinate with Daifuku Japan’s corporate marketing group and DNA on marketing direction
- Create newsletters, brochures, social media posts, and website content to engage, inform, and motivate the target audience.
- Implements marketing strategies by coordinating the creation and production of marketing materials and social media outreach.
- Create original graphics for inclusion in marketing, business development, and divisional needs.
- Creation and maintenance and social media content, establishing a strong brand voice and strategy.
- Evaluate and monitor social media and website performance.
- Working within a global division to create one unified message.
- Maintenance and development of new content for website.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualifications- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under tight deadlines with limited supervision.
- Ability to effectively communicate both oral and written to the company executives and business partners.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with the peers, management & leaders of the business area.
- Assume accountability and take ownership for ALL projects that you are responsible and involved in
- In-depth knowledge of legislation and compliance requirements of a global company
- Strong writing skills with specific experience in the areas of developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and training in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, working with both internal and external individuals and entities.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in assuring compliance with all OSHA regulations
- Good decision-making skills and ability to perform in stressful situations.
- Proficiency in using social media software (e.g. HubSpot’s Social Inbox) to monitor social media conversations.
- Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
- A. or B.S. in Marketing and or Business Management, related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Experience in the Manufacturing Industry is preferred.
