Leader in Industrial Furnace Manufacturing looking for talented Electrical/Automation Engineer to join the team. Responsibilities include designing and development of electrical equipment and automation programming. Ideal candidate will have proven track record in Electrical Design and Automation Integration of industrial systems.
Must have proven track record of good engineering documentation practice, Automation Integration and Design for Manufacturing.
Essential Responsibilities:- Develop electrical and automation designs to meet customer, company and code requirements.
- Produce CAD wiring schematics and control panel layouts.
- Produce PLC programs and HMI screens.
- Select hardware and software to meet customer requirements and project budget.
- Collaborate with Sales and Engineering team on development projects.
- Produce all necessary product documentation including Bill of Material, Manufacturing/assembly documentation, Flow Charts, Risk Assessments, Specification Data Sheets, etc.
- Research and design for compliance with UL, NFPA, ISO, CE, and other required standards.
- Provide a Documented history of the development decisions on each project (to be used to make informed decisions to support production of the new product).
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Other duties as deemed a priority and appropriate by the Company and management.
