Payroll Manager

Our growing client is offering a contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Manager onsite in Whites Creek, Tennessee. The role involves managing payroll operations for a company with employees spread across multiple states. The job will require the individual to work on-site, ensuring smooth and accurate payroll processing, with heavy review responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees in over 30 states.
• Reviewing and verifying payroll details before finalizing payments.
• Handling employee relations related to payroll issues and queries.
• Ensuring compliance with multi-state payroll regulations.
• Accurately uploading garnishments to the payroll system.
• Preparing and distributing W2 forms to employees.
• Generating and presenting payroll reports as required.
• Working closely with employees to ensure they can independently enter their hours.
• Maintaining strong communication with all employees regarding payroll matters.
• Utilizing Paycom software for payroll processing and management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role
• Proficiency in managing payroll for 101 - 500 employees
• Extensive knowledge of garnishments and payroll-garnishments
• Ability to manage and process time cards efficiently
• Expertise with IRS W-2 Forms
• Experience with Paycom payroll software is preferable
