Capital Markets Analyst- Investment Sales

Key Responsibilities:
- Investment Sales Advisory Packages: Prepare comprehensive packages for commercial real estate transactions, including in-depth research, financial modeling, and executive summaries.
- Financial Modeling & Underwriting: Conduct sophisticated financial modeling and underwriting using market data and comparable transactions to evaluate opportunities.
- Due Diligence Management: Oversee the due diligence process, leading marketing and closing efforts while ensuring effective communication with the team, clients, and market stakeholders.
- Document Analysis: Review and analyze real estate documents (leases, loan documents, appraisals) to identify and address potential issues.
- Financing Recommendations: Develop financing alternatives and recommendations for presentation to senior team members.
- Networking: Build a robust client network through meetings, events, and active involvement in real estate trade organizations.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss deal flow, market conditions, and new client leads.
- Experience: 3-5 years in financial analysis, preferably within the mortgage or commercial real estate sectors.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Argus Enterprise software.
- Strong understanding of discounted cash flow analysis and commercial real estate financial modeling.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with top-level executives and explaining strengths and weaknesses of commercial real estate investments.
- Experience with loan committees and/or investment committees is a plus.
- Analytical Acumen: Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Collaboration: Ability to work independently while thriving as a collaborative team player.
This role includes a structured training program over the next 12-18 months, equipping you with the foundation to transition into a junior investment sales broker role.
