We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in The Villages, Florida area. This role operates within the industry, where you will be expected to handle a series of accounting duties, ranging from Accounts Payable (AP) to General Ledger maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage the General Ledger
• Oversee and ensure efficient processing of Accounts Payable (AP)
• Handle and resolve any customer inquiries related to accounting
• Carry out Bank Reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Manage and maintain accurate Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Prepare and process Journal Entries as required
• Oversee Month End Close procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Utilize Sage Intacct for various accounting tasks and processes.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Staff Accountant
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures
• Experience with handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrated ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
• Familiarity with maintaining and managing the General Ledger
• Skilled in preparing and posting Journal Entries
• Experience in executing Month End Close activities
• Proficient in using Sage Intacct accounting software
