Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement employee training programs to enhance skills, safety awareness, and career growth.
  • Provide ongoing support to managers and employees in resolving HR-related issues, conflicts, and performance concerns.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Manage the company's performance management system, including conducting performance reviews, setting goals, and providing feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Update and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards and company goals.
  • Maintain and update employee records and ensure data integrity.
  • Foster a positive company culture by promoting open communication, recognition programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management on HR-related matters and help drive organizational change and growth.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources, preferably within the construction industry or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certification in HR (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) is a plus.
