Accounting Clerk

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk located in Ardsley, New York. This role is within the accounting department where your primary function will be to process accounts payable invoices and perform data reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the process of accounts payable invoice processing
• Monitor and manage emails related to invoices and ensure their appropriate departmental forwarding
• Perform various accounts payable tasks as required
• Ensure accurate data entry for customer records and transactions
• Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and invoice processing
• Regularly reconcile data to maintain accurate record
• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries as they arise
• Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proven experience in Data Entry
• Ability to process invoices accurately and efficiently
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
