Warehouse Associate/Picker/Packer

Other Half Brewery is looking for a committed warehouse associate to join our team in Washington, DC!
Summary:
This position is focused on filling in the gaps for both the Warehouse and Distribution Teams. Responsibilities include supporting within the warehouse - organizing, cleaning, unloading trucks, driving trucks, moving pallets, and setting up the warehouse.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Maximizing space in order to store product efficiently in warehousesConstruct, wrap and label pallets of product with precision
Accurate completion of proper documentation concerning shipping/receiving
Ensure dry-goods warehouse and cold room are kept clean and organized
Tracks and records inventory of finished and partial pallets from packaging runs, and performs audits as necessary
Ensures all positions on canning line have adequate and appropriate supplies
Provides stock to tap room as needed
Manually load and unload product from side loader truck
Shipping & receiving of products (loading and unloading trucks)
Lift, stack, and transport cases and kegs of beer of varying weights to accounts
Help with various other tasks/projects when required (inventory counts, deep cleaning, maintenance, pickups and deliveries, etc).
Equipment Operation - Safely Operates:
Forklifts, box trucks, electric pallet jacks, non-electric pallet jacks, scissor lifts and any other machinery use
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GEDMust be at least 18 years of age
Must have a safe driving record
Able to lift, load, unload and move products weighing up to 180 lbs and fulfill all physical requirements of the job
Able and willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) year or more of logistics/warehouse experiencePrevious beverage delivery industry experience preferred
