Accounting Clerk

We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Rochester, New York. In this role, you will work on various aspects of accounting, including account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, billing, and data entry. This position provides a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
• Maintain up-to-date customer credit records
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed
• Reconcile accounts to ensure all payments are accurate
• Manage accounts payable and receivable to keep track of the company's financial status
• Handle billing tasks to ensure timely invoice processing
• Enter data accurately, ensuring high quality of information
• Use Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.
• Must have experience with Accounts Payable (AP).
• Knowledge in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.
• Ability to perform Billing tasks effectively.
• Should be adept at Data Entry.
• Experience with Invoice Processing is a must.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.
• Familiarity with Oracle is a plus.
• Must have experience in using QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable.
