Accounts Receivable Clerk

Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Receivable and Collection Specialist for a position located in the Middlesex, NJ area.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough collections on past due accounts
• Ensure accurate data entry on all accounts
• Maintain precise records of customer credit applications
• Engage in customer service activities, including obtaining necessary documentation
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions for collections
• Make calls to customers for collection information and data input
• Handle a significant volume of line items for collections.
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures.
• Ability to manage collections efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
• Proficiency in data entry and administrative tasks.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Ability to work with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
