Description:
Base pay $18.72/hour + additional compensation for higher education and/or years of experience in the field, up to $21.34.
$1,000 Sign on Bonus
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Do you have what it takes to provide Woodworking instruction to young adults?
We are a therapeutic school for children with special needs and are seeking a compassionate and qualified Woodworking Project Trainer who loves to share their knowledge of the woodworking trade! This position will include interacting with our students in a classroom setting.We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable with various woodworking tools and equipment and is able to pass along that knoweldge to our young students while creating projects.
Qualified individuals will supplement instruction and supervise classroom activities. As a Project Trainer, you will provide intensive supervision and treatment of the youth while following an assigned curriculum, with the goal of teaching the students to conduct themselves appropriately in various settings, and to develop skills in adaptive behaviors that will promote healthy functioning.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health - Massachusetts and Rhode Island provides programs and services for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Located in Rutland, MA, this position is responsible for the safety and security of all youth as assigned and provides and ensures therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION: . Associate's Degree is preferred.EXPERIENCE: Experience with woodworking and woodworking tools and equipment. Classroom experience is preferred.
