Entry-Level Credit Analyst (Hybrid)

We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for an Entry-Level Credit Analyst in Eagan, Minnesota. As a Credit Analyst, you will be instrumental in maintaining customer accounts and ensuring timely payment of overdue accounts. This role involves working in the finance industry and requires a strong focus on customer service, sales, payment processing, and debt recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Locate and monitor overdue accounts to ensure timely payment
• Communicate with customers via mail, telephone, or personal visits to solicit payments
• Review terms of sales, services, or credit contracts with customers to resolve payment issues
• Implement debt repayment plans or establish repayment schedules based on customers' financial situations
• Record and maintain accurate customer/client information
• Utilize exceptional debt recovery techniques to recover overdue payments
• Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to collections
• Prepare statements for the credit department in cases where customers do not respond
• Utilize computer applications such as Microsoft Word and other collections software
• Provide support and constructive performance feedback to enhance the efficiency of collection processes.

• Demonstrated experience in Customer Service and Sales
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word
• Familiarity with Review and Contract procedures
• Experience in Payment Processing and Check Processing
• Knowledge of Collection Processes and Debt Recovery strategies
• Ability to perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks
• Experience in Claim Administration and understanding of relevant Regulations
• Knowledge of Credit and Overdraft management
• Negotiation skills to effectively manage Customer Accounts and handle Delinquencies
• Experience as a Collector is a plus
• Excellent Written Communication skills
• Familiarity with Company Policy
• Experience in Merchandising
• Knowledge of 'About Time' software is advantageous
