Software Architect Manager

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Software Architect Manager in Newark, New Jersey. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based and on-premises software solutions. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects, and leading a team of software developers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement both cloud-based (e.g., Azure) and on-premises software solutions.
• Utilize programming languages and development frameworks (e.g., .NET, React, C#) to build efficient systems.
• Manage database design and management (SQL).
• Implement DevOps practices, CI/CD implementation, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Foster a work environment that encourages detail-oriented growth and teamwork.
• Oversee the allocation of resources, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
• Evaluate existing systems and software solutions, identifying opportunities to enhance performance, scalability, cohesion, and cost efficiency.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, and version control across the team.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of technology stacks, frameworks, and tools to support enterprise-wide solutions.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role or in the field of software architecture.
• Expertise in Cisco Technologies is required.
• Proficiency in Cloud Technologies, with a focus on implementation and management.
• Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
• Familiarity with Dell Technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
• Experience with Active Directory management and operations.
• Skills in Auditing, specifically within IT environments.
• Proficiency in Backup Technologies, including data recovery and business continuity planning.
• Solid understanding of Computer Hardware.
• Expertise in Configuration Management.
• Proficiency in C# programming language.
• Knowledge of Web Application Architecture, including designing, building, and implementing web-based applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including database design and optimization.
• Experience with RESTful Service, including design and implementation.
• Knowledge of Azure Stack and ability to leverage its capabilities.
• Proficiency in .NET framework, including its implementation and management.
• Experience in React, specifically in building user interfaces.
