Loan Operations Analyst
Overview:
Assist the VP of Loan Servicing with managing the loan core maintenance and reporting in DNA. Provide a back up to variety of activities to support the servicing of the Bank’s loan portfolio. Activities include the efficient and accurate processing of loan disbursements, booking loans to the Bank’s core system, reviewing completed files for accuracy, performing required loan maintenance, and supporting the Loan Servicing Team with daily functions as needed.

Essential Functions

Management may assign new duties, reassign existing duties, or eliminate a function.- Have an understanding of the mission critical applications used by Loan Operations to manage processes and workflow.
- Assist in the management of the core system parameters, loan product parameters, release updates, user testing, tax processing, loan rate table, and reviewing vendor client bulletins as related to loans.
- Assist in the testing of new applications and releases.
- Manage the cases open with the core vendor for issues, updates and follow up.
- Responsible for the creation of queries and reports out of the core system as requested/required.
- Back up to the Appraisal and Collateral Coordinator – Requesting appraisals through the vendor, reviewing the appraisals and releasing them to the lender.
- Enter new loans into the core system.
- Perform loan maintenance as requested (commercial renewals, extensions, modification) while ensuring the proper approvals are evident.
- Prepare payoff statement as needed.
- Review completed loan files for accuracy, providing feedback concerning documentation deficiencies.
- Track all pending/outstanding loan documents and exceptions.
- Answer and respond to both internal and external customer inquiries and requests.
- Process loan-related transactions.
- Assist in updating policies and procedures as needed.
- Participate in internal and external quality control and audit assessments.
- Perform related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education and Experience- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of Banking experience
- 3-5 Years Lending Operations experience required
- Working knowledge of commercial lending
- Knowledge of DNA core system preferred
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong comprehensive knowledge of lending terminology.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to multi-task and remain organized.
Working Conditions
Traditional office environment with no unusual work conditions with ability to work remotely on a hybrid basis; the office maintains five day a week operations (Monday – Friday) with operational hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm.
