Occupational Therapist

Overview:
The Occupational Therapist, in the Acute Care setting, provides occupational therapy services by evaluating patients, establishing and implementing effective treatment plans with functional treatment goals, providing patient education and exercise/activity programs, constructing appropriate orthotic devices and educating in use of adaptive equipment.

Position is responsible for observing, evaluating and documenting the results of treatment interventions and modify treatment plan accordingly and provides age specific direct patient care according to the department's scope of service. The Occupational Therapist may be required to cover other areas of the WakeMed Rehab continuum.

Education: Bachelor's Degree Occupational Therapy Or Master's Degree Occupational Therapy Required

Experience: 2 Years Clinical - Occupational Therapy Preferred
