Engineering Technician
1st or 2nd Shift
Active Top Secret Clearance Required
W2 Hourly Contract: $28.30 to $33.45 per hour

In this pivotal role you'll work with-Technologies that aren't just top-notch, they're often top-secret-A team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what's next-And opportunities to gain new knowledge - as it's discoveredAs an advanced engineering technician, you will be working with Engineering, Operations Support and individuals in other departments, to support engineering activities like design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment.
Your day to day activities will include: -Interpreting basic engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics-Constructing, modifying, debugging, troubleshooting, calibrating, testing and adjusting a variety of tools, equipment and systems-Conducting, analyzing and documenting statistically based experiments to define process parameters-Implementing and documenting complex solutions for process improvement-Designing and constructing basic tooling and fixtures to accomplish unique tasks-Organizing, analyzing and interpreting data to identify cause/effect relationships and recommends resolution/process improvement
To succeed in this role you'll need-An Active DoD Top Secret Clearance-An Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience-Solid knowledge and proficiency in the use of fabrication tools-Ability to fabricate complex hardware-Solid knowledge of generally accepted technical theory
