Responsibilities:

Assists the technical and transcription staff in one (1) or more of the laboratory areas. Performs specimen preparatory functions. Also provides clerical and technical support in Pathology.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED:
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent. 2. Ability to understand and apply accurate procedures in specimen handling and clerical processing. 3. Has good communication and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to provide accurate information and instructions. 4. Has strong computer keyboarding skills.
PREFERRED:
  1. One (1) year experience as a Lab Technical Assistant in a clinical or pathology laboratory. 2. Knowledge and experience in the use and application of computers. ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES PREFERRED FOR FLOW CYTOMETRY and
