SR Tax Staff - Public

As the Tax Accountant will have various responsibilities including preparing tax returns, assisting with tax planning, conducting tax research, and handling firm's accounting work.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of business tax returns with a focus on individual and business returns.
• Communication with clients on a regular basis using excellent verbal and written skills.
• Involvement in the resolution of tax notices.
• Assistance in tax planning and creating projections.
• Carrying out tax research using the firm's provided research materials.
• Contributing to the accounting and attestation work of the firm as needed.
• Handling the firm's accounting software systems for efficient working.
• Using CaseWare, CCH ProSystem Fx, and other tools for entity formation and financial statement preparation.
• Management of complex tax return processes and individual tax return procedures.
• Implementation of income tax accounting practices.

• Applicant must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in the detail-oriented services industry.
• Experience with accounting software systems is required.
• Proficiency in CaseWare is essential.
• Knowledge and experience in using CCH ProSystem Fx is mandatory.
• Applicant must have a solid understanding of entity formation.
• Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements is necessary.
• Ability to handle complex tax return scenarios is required.
• Experience in preparing individual tax returns is a must.
• Applicant should have a strong background in income tax accounting.
