Scope of Responsibilities: Works under limited supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned taskJob Summary: Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of orders to long term care facilities, while ensuring total customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Job Duties:
- Must comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe operation of a motor vehicle
- Must comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe delivery of prescriptions to the patient or their agent
- Accurately package and prepare items for facility delivery
- Schedule delivery route in most efficient manner to insure timely delivery with least travel required
- Responsible for completion of all paperwork and proper filing
- Insure all necessary vehicle maintenance is performed on company delivery vehicle, including maintenance of interior and exterior
- Greet customers using appropriate greeting and maintaining customer service levels as needed
- Pick up medications and/or supplies from other facilities
- Must keep current with all State and Federal requirements as related to conditions of employment
- Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
- Required to read and sign the Fleet Management Policy
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Attendance Requirements:
- Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts
- Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
Education:
- Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled in) or GED
Job requirements:
- Must possess a valid Drivers License in good standing
Experience:
- Preferred: 0-2 years previous experience in related position
Required (Vermont Employees):
- Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician
Required (New Hampshire Employees):
- Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician
Special Conditions of Employment:
- Drug test
- Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
- Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position
Job Skills Required:
- Basic Math skills necessary
- Strong communication skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Requires the ability to sit, stand, climb stairs and walk throughout the duration of the shift
- Limited lifting up to 40 lbs
- Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test
Compensation:
$10.61 - $14.94 an hour
The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
