Job Description
A reputable CPA firm located in Oakbrook, IL, is seeking a detail oriented and personable Receptionist to join their team for a 4-month contract assignment. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office by providing exceptional front-desk service and administrative support.
As the first point of contact, the ideal candidate will be warm, organized, and customer-service oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a detail oriented environment.
ResponsibilitiesFront Desk Management: Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and employees with professionalism.
Phone Management: Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
Scheduling: Assist in scheduling client meetings, conference room bookings, and appointments.
Mail & Deliveries: Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
Administrative Support: Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
Client Interaction: Handle sensitive client information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Technology Coordination: Operate basic office equipment (printers, scanners, etc.) and assist in onboarding visitors with Wi-Fi or other tech needs.
Qualifications
Experience: At least 1-2 years of receptionist, administrative, or front-desk experience (CPA firm or financial services experience is a plus).
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
A friendly and detail oriented demeanor with a strong sense of reliability.
Availability: Must be available for the full 4-month contract period.
Schedulepermanent: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (some flexibility may be required).
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate based on experience. Pay is between $17-$19 an hour
