AS580 - Part-Time Afternoon Nanny - Upper West Side

Overview:

A lovely family with two working parents on the Upper West Side is seeking a part-time afternoon/evening nanny for their four-year-old son and five-month-old daughter. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 2-8pm.

Responsibilities:

• Accompany the four-year-old home from school (within walking distance) and to after-school classes and play dates
• Creating an engaging and fun environment
• Preparing snacks and meals for the child
• Child related laundry and tidying when needed
• Infant care, particularly in the evening from 5-8pm

Qualifications:

• Extremely reliable and punctual
• Warm and caring, with a playful energy and high level of engagement
• Understanding of household boundaries as the family is quite private
• Goal oriented- should enjoy setting goals for the child and executing those plans
• Experience with early school-aged children and infants

Requirements:

• US work authorization
• Driving is NOT required
• Swimming is NOT required

Salary and Benefits:

• $35-40/hr. on the books
• PTO
• Yearly discretionary bonus
