Accounts Payable Specialist

We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for our busy real estate client in Cypress.

Duties for the Accounts Payable Specialist include:

• Set up vendor accounts on the SAGE 100 system
• Update the daily bank report with AP checks
• Scan AP checks and invoices, and AR invoices, for electronic filing
• Review the monthly VISA statement, match expenses with receipts & enter the invoice into SAGE 100 system
• Reconcile petty cash and prepare requests for replenishment (monthly)
• Enter bank deposits into SAGE 100 system
• Receive mail and sort AP invoices
• Route AP invoices to managers for approval
• Match purchase orders, shipping documents and vendor invoices
• Code and post vendor invoices
• Prepare vendor checks (weekly)
• Research vendor accounts

• Supporting the billing and AR functions with data uploads and invoice preparation
• Posting customer payments to the SAGE 100 system
• Prepare bank deposits (twice weekly)

• Review semi-monthly timesheets for accuracy
• Review semi-monthly expense reports for compliance with company policies

• 2+ years MAS90/SAGE 100 accounts payable or comparable experience with automated accounts payable systems
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft EXCEL
