In this role with our client, you will be responsible for the safety management throughout the Five Boroughs of New York City.

- The Senior Safety Leader supports the growing Construction and Development safety oversight program.
- May be requested to temporarily manage and lead Business Unit Safety teams based on operational needs
- Conducts unannounced safety inspections and field assessments of projects as directed to identify hazards and noncompliance
- Works closely with construction business units' staff, contracts, legal, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Is a key stakeholder in the further development and implementation of the Safety Management Program including, among other responsibilities, monitoring and documenting metrics across Business Unit construction projects, monitoring implementation of corrective action plans, review and approve project safety related submittals
- Compile weekly and/or monthly personal work activity reports
- Perform any other assigned duties based on operational needs
