Robert Half is seeking a meticulous Office Assistant for our client in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As an Office Assistant, your role will encompass a variety of tasks including managing office functions, maintaining customer service standards, and performing clerical duties, all while utilizing Microsoft Office Suites.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute office functions with a high level of organization and attention to detail
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook, to carry out tasks efficiently
  • Provide clerical support, including filing and correspondence, to maintain a well-organized and efficient office environment
  • Handle receptionist duties as needed, providing excellent customer service and maintaining detail-oriented communication
  • Perform billing functions accurately, ensuring all customer accounts are up to date
  • Aid in the upkeep of customer records, ensuring data accuracy and prompt resolution of inquiries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for managing data and performing calculations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites, including PowerPoint and Access, is required for creating presentations and databases
  • Mastery of Microsoft Outlook for effective email communication and scheduling tasks
  • Strong command of Microsoft Word for drafting letters, creating reports, and other documentation tasks
  • Understanding of general office functions to ensure smooth operation of the workplace
  • Knowledge of About Time software for optimal time and resource management
  • Ability to perform billing functions accurately to maintain financial records
  • Experience in performing clerical duties such as typing, copying, and printing
  • Skill in managing correspondence, including drafting letters and emails
  • Exceptional customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all visitors and clients
  • Experience in receptionist duties such as receiving calls and greeting visitors
  • Ability to provide clerical support to other staff members as needed
  • Proficient in filing systems, both physical and digital, for easy retrieval of documents
