Job Description: Junior Financial Analyst – Supply Chain Focus

Position Overview:

If you have advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUPs and preload analysis), familiarity with error resolution, and a strong desire to grow your financial and analytical capabilities, we encourage you to apply. Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Error Identification and Resolution:

• Review and analyze error reports related to invoices and purchase orders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Accounts Payable, Supply Chain) to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in invoice and PO matching.

1. Reporting and Analysis:

• Utilize and edit reports from systems such as Oracle to verify accuracy and correct errors.
• Run audits to ensure purchase orders (POs) are properly matched, approved, and processed.
• Prepare detailed error reports to prevent reoccurrence of future discrepancies.

1. Full Purchase Order Life Cycle Management:

• Monitor the end-to-end process of purchase orders, from creation to payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Support tracking of PO completion, approvals, and vendor payment management within the Oracle system.

1. Advanced Excel Functions:

• Use advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and preload operations, to analyze large datasets efficiently.
• Develop and maintain templates to streamline data analysis and reporting.

1. Collaboration and Workflow Optimization:

• Partner with the Supply Chain and AP teams to improve workflows and resolve systemic inefficiencies.
• Recommend process improvements based on findings from invoice and error analysis.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills, including working knowledge of VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formula building.
• Prior experience or coursework/familiarity with supply chain processes or AP functions is a bonus.
• Exposure to or experience with Oracle ERP systems or other comparable platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and vendors.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of related experience in a financial analyst, supply chain, or AP role (internships included).
• Proficiency in handling reports and detecting errors within financial/supply chain systems.
• Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies in financial and supply chain analysis.
