Entry Level Benefits Specialist

DATTCO has an opening for a full-time Benefits Specialist in New Britain, CT. This is a full-time, on-site position and remote work is not available.

• Hours 7:30 am
• 4:00 pm, Monday
• Friday (overtime may be required occasionally based on business needs)

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0-1-year benefits experience (high deductible plans, flex spending, HRA, etc.)
• Human resource basic knowledge (i.e., FMLA, LOA, ACA)
• Bi-lingual is a plus
• Valid CT drivers license
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Excel and HRIS
• Self-motivated
• Detail-orientated
• Ability to work within time constraints
• Be able to work independently and within a team environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
