Red Stag’s Technology group is looking for a clever, relationally savvy, and highly analytical Business Process Analyst who leads strategic change with an Agile mindset and grit.

Come join a technology team that is tackling some of the biggest business challenges facing Red Stag as we work to serve and scale our clients’ companies.

Overview:

You’re excited about this role because you’ll…
  • Develop thriving relationships across a growing organization with a team first orientation.
  • Act as an ambassador and key contact for a fast paced, highly skilled, and results-oriented technology group.
  • Represent the project vision of Red Stag’s executive leadership in a prioritized and inspiring process implementation.

Responsibilities:

Your team will thrive as you…
  • Translate business objectives into quality experiences for our clients and team members.
  • Leverage feedback from key stakeholders and Technology leadership to solidify technical investments into well-defined vertical slices that always focus on real business needs.
  • Collaborate with the team and technical leads to decompose process improvements into tasks and targets.
  • Help engineers to continuously improve delivery speed, quality, and cost-effective improvements.
  • Identify and remove project risks and roadblocks that would otherwise jeopardize successful changes.
  • Deliver consistent and credible communication to stakeholders and executive leadership about your project.

Qualifications:

We want you on our team because…
  • You demonstrate grit, clever problem-solving, honesty, team-based ambition, strong attention to detail, and high character.
  • You are able to learn new technologies and deploy end to end solutions quickly and iteratively.
  • You are an innovative and organized servant leader who enjoys mentoring others.
  • You are skilled at influencing and negotiating successful outcomes in both technical and business arenas.
  • You make difficult and quick decisions on a daily basis without fear of failure.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in an analytical or engineering environment as a project leader.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or equivalent work experience.
Score bonus points with…
  • Your history of developing market and competitive analysis to drive product strategy and roadmaps.
  • Your understanding of database principles, SQL, data analysis, user experience, and object-oriented design.
  • Your Product Owner, Product Manager, and/or Scrum Master certification.
  • Your proficiency with a variety of Agile project management tools (e.g. JIRA).
  • Your management consulting experience and/or master’s degree in business, technology, or another related field.

If you have already achieved one or more of the above, fantastic! If not, we are excited to work with you in mastering new skills like these.

Need not apply if…

Finally, while it's essential for us to outline the characteristics and competencies of the perfect candidate, it might be equally important to list the types of candidates who need not apply:

  • A "strategic visionary" who disdains getting their hands in the muck of the work.
  • An order-taker, paralyzed by indecision until someone directs your day-to-day activity and tells you what to do.
  • A maintainer, hoping to execute the established playbook as opposed to helping write it with their team.
  • A political animal, who advances via corporate politics rather than value creation
  • A head in the sand, who wants to "just do my job" and not actively hunt for ways to improve our business and team.
