- 60 months of experience working on IT projects within the healthcare industry, including Medicaid or Medicare systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with program staff to manage projects within the Medicaid Data Warehouse (MDW).
- Manage projects using a PMBOK-based project management methodology, adhering to well-defined processes, templates, and guidelines for all project phases under the supervision of a formal Project Management Office (PMO).
- Prepare and manage the Project Management Plan, including scope statement, schedule, budget, quality plan, risks, issues, and communication plan.
- Prepare project documents, presentations, and meeting materials.
- Track project performance to ensure goals are met.
- Identify and facilitate communication with various stakeholder groups.
- Utilize formal project change management processes and communicate any changes with all stakeholders.
- Conduct stakeholder analysis sessions to synchronize expectations and facilitate lessons learned.
- Develop and execute transition plans to ensure a smooth transition to operations.
- Focus may be directed toward initiatives related to Pharmacy and PMQI (Performance Management and Quality Improvement).
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) to ensure alignment of project management activities with EPMO standards.
