Business Systems Analyst

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst with strong experience in SQL and Tableau. This role is in the financial trading industry, with the workplace being a hybrid model, requiring onsite presence for three days a week. The Business Systems Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing, maintaining, debugging, and data mapping for internal applications used within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities to improve or gain efficiencies within a large portfolio of applications.
• Maintain a solid understanding of integration between systems.
• Research and resolve problems and issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Implement temporary solutions to problems when necessary and recommend alternative solutions.
• Debug and maintain applications to ensure smooth operation.
• Utilize SQL for data management and manipulation and Tableau for dashboard development and maintenance
• Work with Single Sign-On (SSO) systems for user authentication and access control.
• Collaborate with business functions for requirements gathering.
• Contribute to the configuration analysis and maintenance of the company's internal applications.
• Collaborate with the Head of Trade Technology and the team to deliver on project goals.
• Leverage skills in Atlassian Jira, Business Systems, Confluence, Database, EO/IR Systems, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Business Requirement Document, Design, and Diagram to perform tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated experience with business systems and reporting/developing dashboards with Tableau
• Strong understanding of database structures and systems
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems
• Prior experience with AB Testing methods and implementation
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies
• Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents
• Strong design skills, including the ability to diagram business processes and system architecture
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
