Manufacturing Senior Cost Accountant

Responsibilities for Senior Cost Accountant jobs include:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with inventory of Raw Materials, WIP, and Finished Goods in a warehouse setting
- Advanced PC skills, including Excel, SAGE, JD Edwards, and Microsoft Office
- Gather, analyze, and document data to assess financial implications for business decisions
- Perform cost estimates for new products and analyze discrepancies in manufacturing costs
- Maintain accurate work orders and collaborate with production to resolve discrepancies
- Ensure integrity of standard costs and item attributes impacting accounting flows
- Analyze cost of sales and manufacturing variances; prepare monthly Yield, PPV, Reject, and KPI reports
- Assist in the annual budget process and prepare monthly/quarterly journal entries and financial reports
- Monitor inventory, confirm month-end balances, and manage damaged/rejected inventory processes
- Support Accounts Payable/Receivable with inventory transactions and assist in new item setup
- Participate in corporate initiatives, special projects, and maintain accurate schedules for month-end close
- Assist with quality audit items as needed
- Reliable attendance is essential

Pay Details: $32.00 per hour
