Salary: $150k-$190k DOE + Bonus

About the Company: The company is a San Francisco-based real estate investment and development firm with an extensive, nationwide real estate portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed review of monthly operating reports and assist in managing the profitability and cash flow of properties.
• Coordinate, review and implement annual operating budgets, business plans, and forecast financial information for the Fund and assigned properties.
• Prepare, review, and edit quarterly reports to investors and consultants.
• Maintain cash distribution and preferred return waterfalls for Fund and joint-venture-owned investments.
• Perform complete controller function for closing of property acquisitions and dispositions, and assist in improving best practices and system platform.

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in public accounting.
• At least 3 years’ experience in real estate investment accounting - Fund level and property level.
• Strong GAAP accounting background, including fair value accounting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical and organizational skills required.
