Bookkeeper

We are on the lookout for a Bookkeeper to join a tenured accounting team in for a client located in ROSE HAVEN, Maryland. This is a direct-hire position that offers full-benefits and room for growth within the company. As a Bookkeeper, your role would encompass handling accounts payable/receivable, credit card reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of accounting records.

Responsibilities:

• Keeping up-to-date and accurate records of financial information
• Manage and set up new vendors in accounting system
• Promptly resolving customer inquiries and issues
• Handling account reconciliation tasks with diligence
• Managing Accounts Payable activities effectively
• Conducting credit card reconciliation tasks accurately
• Proficient use of QuickBooks for various bookkeeping tasks
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and other related tasks
• Researching and resolving discrepancies in account records
• Securely obtaining receipts from staff members for purchases made.
• Must have a strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
• Knowlege of credit card reconciliations
• Must possess excellent Data Entry skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary
• Should have experience in using QuickBooks
