Sourcing Director

The Sourcing Director is responsible for the strategic and tactical execution required to ensure Customer needs are met. This role has procurement oversight for all goods and services. The Sourcing Director uses tools, data and experience to make sure we have the right parts, on time, at the best price. The Sourcing Director will coordinate with the Operations Team (Warehouse, Customer Service and IT Directors) to implement and execute Operational goals. Responsibilities include:
Identify, build and maintain Vendor relationships-
Manage and develop the Sourcing Team-
Establish and maintain processes to evaluate and manage costs-
Coordinate with the Product Management team to effectively onboard new items-
- Utilize StockIQ to review inventory status and approve recommended purchases-
Analyze SIQ data to evaluate demand, trends and Vendor performance-
Evaluate and incorporate Customer forecasts into the purchasing process-Identify, build and maintain Vendor relationships-
Manage and develop the Sourcing Team-
Establish and maintain processes to evaluate and manage costs-
Coordinate with the Product Management team to effectively onboard new items-
Additional Sourcing initiatives as assigned
