Part Time Bookkeeper

We are offering a contract for a Part Time Bookkeeper role (30 hours/week), based in Brookfield, Wisconsin. As a Part Time Bookkeeper, you will be part of a team working within the industry, responsible for a variety of financial tasks, including account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping, and payroll duties.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process full cycle accounts receivable
• Review and post cash to the correct accounts, ensuring accuracy in the reconciliation process
• Provide support during the month end close procedures
• Take an active role in automating the accounts payable processes
• Oversee inventory control measures to ensure accurate records
• Act as a backup for payroll and other miscellaneous duties
• Employ data entry skills to maintain accurate customer credit records
• Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for various tasks.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is essential
• Must have knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Expertise in Bank Reconciliations is necessary
• Prior experience in Bookkeeping is highly desirable
• Must be skilled in Data Entry tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience with Month End Close tasks is necessary
• Must have knowledge of Payroll procedures
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential
