Core Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients warmly as they arrive and leave, acting as the first point of contact
- Efficiently managing patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Scheduling and confirming patient appointments effectively.
- Collecting co-payments for services rendered while maintaining records accurately.
- Handling incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Thoroughly confirm and update patient demographic information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Obtaining prior authorizations as required for patient treatment.
- Effectively load physician clinic templates into EMR for streamlined operations.
- Attentively compiling medical records whilst ensuring patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with an ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in utilizing EMR systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and patient care procedures.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
