Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for assisting the dentists under a Dental Operating Microscope during the examination and treatment of patients.

- Record patient charting and dentist's notes in digital patient charts.
- Take X-rays and CBCT scans.
- Provide four-handed chairside assistance to the dentist under a Dental Operating Microscope during procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, operatories, and equipment.
- Instruct patients on post-operative care and general oral health.
- Conduct follow-up calls to patients regarding their treatment.
- Collaborate with dental and front office team to ensure the dentist’s schedule runs efficiently.
- Adhere to infection-control policies and procedures in accordance with state guidelines.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with daily, weekly and monthly operatory cleaning and equipment testing.
- Contribute productively to the team and excel as an individual contributor.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Dental Assistant experience
Knowledge of dental practice and procedures preferred
Knowledge of dental radiographs
Knowledge of dental software programs
