Job Description- Promotes, drives, and champions a strong safety culture to eliminate injuries.* Ensures that manufacturing performance, volume, and quality goals are achieved by utilizing efficient methods and maintaining appropriate staffing levels.* Develops and designs quantitative and strategic action plans and metrics that enhance the overall quality, delivery, and service levels.* Mentors and leads associates in a hands-on approach, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and accountability.* Supports, leads, and integrates operational support teams to develop and implement tactical and strategic plans aligned with site and company objectives.* Demonstrates strong formal problem-solving skills to drive root cause identification and implement permanent corrective actions for both internal and external defects.* Shows a willingness to innovate and strives for continual improvement.* Develops, implements, and continuously optimizes training objectives, skill development initiatives, schedules, and performance metrics for subordinate roles.* Closely monitors capacity and capabilities within the value stream, proactively identifying bottlenecks and resource gaps within manufacturing processes.

The Successful Applicant- Education: Bachelors Degree in Engineering Discipline such as Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, etc.
- 6+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience in plastics manufacturing
- Six Sigma Black or Green Belt
- Proven knowledge of Strategy Deployment and LEAN principles.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, train, and develop skill sets for manufacturing supervision, technical resources, and production associates.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
