Responsible for issuing and inventory of associate uaniforms or other items relating to the Housekeeping department.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and keep an inventory of uniforms.
  • Assist with uniform issuance, labeling, repairs, and alterations.
  • Inspect all uniforms/clothing prior to repairs.
  • Assist with pressing guest items according to Select Guest standards.
  • Assist with counting and tracking outgoing/incoming dry cleaning.
  • Work with dry cleaning company to find missing dry-cleaning items.
  • If possible, repair clothing for guests.
  • Responsible for repairing items such as drapes, sheers, bed skirts, other linen, etc.
  • Knowledge of hotel, facilities, and events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department at all times.
  • Adhere by safety and sanitization regulations as instructed by OSHA and the Omni Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge/skills needed to operate a sewing machine, steam presser, irons, washing machines and dryers.
  • Able to maintain a 4-Diamond level.
  • Able to work with management on special projects.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
  • Requires repetitive motion of arms and hands.
