ROLE AND BEHAVIORAL DESCRIPTIONS
Requirements:
- Cleans (dust, dry mop, wet mop, sanitize, vacuum, scrub) assigned resident rooms, tub rooms, bathrooms, offices, and common areas, such as public rest rooms, dining room, entryways, laundry room, etc., daily according to facility procedures.
- Respects residents’ privacy and preferences about room arrangements and personal items. Knocks before entering resident rooms and bathrooms.
- Cleans walls, windows, mirrors, and bathroom fixtures, vacuums, washes tables, removes dust and cob webs from ceilings and ceiling fans, and dusts furniture according to department procedures and cleaning schedules.
- We are proactive in talking about and remedying problems and mistakes. We take responsibility for our mistakes. We figure out what happened, then we can find the “why” and prevent if in the future. We do not dwell on mistakes – it is only important that we learn from them and move forward.
- Work smarter harder not longer. We need to be both efficient and effective in all that we do.
- We continually look for ways to improve. We look for new ways, test them, and incorporate the once that improve what we do. If “It’s always been done that way”, it will no longer.
- We value the role and contributions of every one of us and show that in how we treat each other. This always means assuming positive intent. Shift times:
M-F 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Weekends 9:00 am – 3:00 pm 2 weeks a month
