Club Lounge Concierge - Hotel Polaris

Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Maintain food & beverage presentation and extreme cleanliness of private club lounge.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and/or beverages.
• Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property.
• Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
• Utilize the freedom to go beyond to become an expert in the local community and confidently connect guests to unique and unforgettable experiences in the local area.
• Share your personal passions and knowledge of the services and amenities available to guests to help guests feel at home.
• Collaborate with team members to communicate what you see and hear to staff and management to ensure the guests needs are being met.
• Have an impeccable eye for detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• At least one (1) year food & beverage experience preferred.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred.
• Must possess valid TIPS card upon hire.
• Must possess valid Food Handler’s card upon hire.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulder height.
• Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
