Sales Director (East Coast) - New York
Reports To: US Vice President of Sales and Field Operations

General Description: The Sales Director will lead the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives to drive growth and market awareness of Nidra therapy across multiple states. This role involves overseeing a high-performing sales team, building and nurturing relationships with healthcare providers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to expand market share, create broad market awareness and achieve revenue targets for Nidra therapy.
- Lead, mentor, build and manage a team of Territory Sales Managers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
Market Development:
- Identify and target key healthcare providers, DME/titration partners, hospitals, and patient groups to drive therapy adoption and market penetration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), titration partners, and strategic accounts.
- Collaborate with Marketing to enhance market awareness and execute product launch strategies effectively.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and oversee territory business plans, ensuring alignment with overall corporate goals and objectives.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for growth.
- Implement scalable solutions to meet customer needs and drive long-term partnerships.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with Product Development, Operations and Marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and market entry strategies.
- Support the patient journey by coordinating with Patient Access, Customer Care, and Therapy Support Specialist teams.
- Plan and execute patient and customer education events to promote product knowledge and therapy benefits.
Sales Performance Management:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including territory sales goals, forecasting, and market dynamics.
- Utilize CRM tools for administration, tracking, and reporting of sales activities and performance.
- Maintain a high sense of urgency and accountability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Communication and Problem Solving:
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both in-person and via video conferencing, to effectively engage with stakeholders.
- Address and resolve customer and team issues promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and successful outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in B2B sales within the medical device or healthcare industry, with a proven track record of success.
- Prior experience in a leadership role, managing, building and developing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, sales methodologies, and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.

- Previous experience in a startup environment is advantageous.
