This role requires an individual experienced in various HR systems including UKG (UltiPro), and who is competent in California labor laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day HR operations to support employees
• Implement improvements in HR processes and systems to enhance efficiency and reach HR's strategic objectives
• Create, govern, and report on HR policies and compliance, with a strong emphasis on California labor law and regulations
• Handle employee relations and performance management tasks effectively
• Conduct thorough audits of Health Equity reports such as direct bill, COBRA, and Commuter to ensure accuracy
• Administer and oversee 401K compliance and support for employees
• Utilize HRIS - UKG (UltiPro) effectively for various HR functions
• Engage in benefit functions, ensuring optimal employee benefits management
• Demonstrate strong communication skills in all interactions
• Continually improve HR processes, leveraging skills in process improvement. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HR Generalist role.
• Proficient in managing benefit functions, including health insurance, retirement plans, and employee assistance programs.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective employee relations.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Experience in handling sensitive employee relations issues with confidentiality and discretion.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) to manage employee leaves effectively.
• Proficiency in using HRIS systems, specifically UKG Pro and UltiPro, for efficient HR operations.
• Strong capabilities in process improvement to enhance HR functions and services.
