About the Job:As a Veterinary Technician in our Internal Medicine service, you'll play a vital role in overseeing appointments, collaborating with our Internists, and actively participating in patient assessment, diagnostics, and treatments. This is an excellent opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, including digital radiology, CT, and ultrasound.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage appointments and clients in collaboration with Dr. Noemi Benitah
- Conduct patient assessment, diagnostics, and treatments
- Obtain and process laboratory samples
- Perform medical calculations and administration, digital radiology, and CT scans
- Induce, monitor, and recover anesthetic or sedated procedures
- Set up and assist in endoscopic procedures
Schedule:
- Tuesday – Friday
- 8a – 6p
- NO WEEKENDS!
Compensation:
- $20 - $30 pending skills assessment leveling
- Even higher for VTS!
- $1000 SIGN ON BONUS
About You:
- You are a confident, skilled, Veterinary Technician - Bonus points if you are a CVT, LVT, or VTS!
- You possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills aimed at establishing long lasting, positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community.
- You are able to work well independently and in a team environment, leading by example and holding oneself accountable for quality medicine and customer service.
- You exhibit flexibility, dependability, responsibility, and possesses excellent attention to detail and time management skills
