What You'll Do:

  • Drive Financial Excellence: Lead all accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and purchasing, ensuring precision and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Champion Strategic Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends, analyze data, and contribute to the strategic vision by delivering actionable financial insights.
  • Optimize Cost Structures: Collaborate across departments to understand and refine operations and cost-control measures, aligning them with organizational goals.
  • Master Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Enable Agile Budgeting: Contribute to the budgeting processes, assess proposals, and provide insightful analysis to guide leadership in decision-making.
  • Enhance Operational Integrity: Oversee internal controls, policies, and compliance to ensure seamless regulatory adherence and minimize risk exposure.
  • Foster Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with executives and managers to provide clear, timely updates on financial performance and forecasts.
  • Lead CPA Review, Tax, and Compliance Efforts: Coordinate annual independent CPA Review and ensure the organization meets all federal, state, and regulatory obligations.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA/CPA strongly preferred).
  • Netsuite Experience is Prefered
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry preferred
  • Laboratory experience a plus
  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence decisions, and manage multiple priorities with flexibility and precision.
  • Strong grasp of regulatory compliance, tax laws, and payroll practices.
  • Ability to sit at a computer, type and visually interact with data at a screen for extended periods of time
